1. What Cookies and Browser Storage Are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device when you visit. localStorage and sessionStorage are similar mechanisms provided by modern browsers; they keep information in your browser without using classic cookies.

These mechanisms let a site remember things, such as keeping your session active or storing a preference. In this policy we refer to all of them collectively as cookies and browser storage.

2. The Strictly-Necessary Storage We Use Today

When you sign in to the panel, we store strictly-necessary authentication data in your browser so that we can keep your session active. This is technically required for the service to work and does not require consent.

The strictly-necessary keys we use are: dw_refresh -- holds the token used to renew your session; if you choose "Remember me" it is kept in localStorage so it survives the browser closing, otherwise it is kept in sessionStorage only for that session or tab. dw_remember -- a small flag that records your "Remember me" choice (on or off). dw_consent -- records your cookie-consent choice so we do not ask again and can honour it.

This storage keeps you signed in and remembers your choices (your "Remember me" and cookie-consent preferences); it is not used for advertising, profiling, or tracking you across other sites. The session (authentication) token is removed from your browser when you sign out, while the "Remember me" and cookie-consent preferences remain until you change them or clear your browser storage.

3. No Analytics or Marketing Cookies

At present, no third-party analytics tools (such as visitor measurement), advertising pixels, or social media trackers are loaded on our site. We do not track your behavior across the site or across other sites.

A cookie consent banner is shown on your first visit so that you can accept or reject the optional categories; your choice is stored in dw_consent, while the strictly-necessary storage stays active regardless. We do keep first-party campaign attribution: if you arrive through a campaign or referral link, dw_attr_first and dw_attr_last hold the campaign parameters (UTM), the referring site and the referral code from that link (localStorage), so that we can understand which campaign or partner led to a sign-up. This is our own first-party measurement; it is read only when you create an account and is never shared with third-party advertising networks.

4. If Analytics Are Added Later

If we add analytics or similar optional technologies in the future, they will run only with your consent. A cookie consent banner will appear, letting you accept or reject by category (such as analytics and marketing).

The strictly-necessary authentication storage will always stay active and cannot be turned off, because the service needs it to work. No optional cookie will be loaded without your explicit consent. If such a change happens, this policy will be updated and the "Last updated" date refreshed.

5. How to Clear Your Storage

You can delete site data and cookies at any time from your browser settings. In most browsers this is done under history or privacy settings, using an option such as "clear site data" or "delete cookies".

If you delete the strictly-necessary authentication storage, your session ends and you will need to sign in to the panel again. Signing out of the panel also clears this data automatically.
